Terms of service

Version 1.0

These terms govern use of the datastore.sh website and the purchase of datasets through it. The data license governs what you may do with purchased data. By using the site or completing a purchase, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

datastore.sh operates a catalog of historical blockchain datasets. A purchase is a one-time transaction for a defined dataset and coverage window, delivered as Parquet files via signed download links sent to the email address provided at checkout.

Catalog metadata — including observed row counts, coverage bounds, and schema documentation — describes the archive to the best of our verification at the time shown. Row counts labeled as sampled are exact counts from sampled epochs, not full-archive totals.

2. Purchases and payment

Payments are processed by Stripe under its own terms; we do not receive or store card details. Prices shown at checkout are final for that transaction and are stated in USD. Applicable taxes are the buyer's responsibility unless collected at checkout.

A purchase covers every table in the selected dataset for the selected coverage window.

3. Delivery and re-delivery

Download links are signed and time-limited. If a link expires before you retrieve your files, contact orders@datastore.sh and we will reissue it for the same purchase at no cost.

Delivery is complete when the files matching the manifest have been made available. Verify every file against its manifest checksum on receipt.

4. Corrections and versions

Published dataset versions are immutable. If a defect is found in a version you purchased — including checksum mismatches, decoding errors, or coverage gaps within the purchased window — the corrected version is delivered to you at no additional cost.

5. Refunds

Because datasets are delivered digital goods, completed deliveries are generally non-refundable. If we fail to deliver, or a delivery is defective and we cannot correct it within a reasonable time, we will refund the purchase.

6. Acceptable use of the site

You agree not to interfere with the operation of the site, attempt unauthorized access, scrape at volumes that degrade service, or misrepresent your identity in a purchase.

7. Disclaimers

Datasets describe public on-chain activity. They are not investment advice, and no warranty is made of fitness for a particular trading outcome. Except as expressly stated in these terms or a signed agreement, the service and datasets are provided as-is.

Specific commitments on delivery cadence, support response, and liability caps for enterprise customers are made in signed agreements, which prevail over these terms where they conflict.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from a purchase is limited to the amount paid for that purchase. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including trading losses.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms by publishing a new version on this page. The version in effect at the time of your purchase governs that purchase.

Questions about this document: orders@datastore.sh. Changes are published here as new versions; continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
